How Will My Order Ship?
We know that once you have placed an order with us, you want to receive it as quickly as possible. We have established strong relationships with some of the best delivery companies nationwide and will ship your order using the fastest, safest, and most reliable method available. Every product on our site has been carefully selected to ship by a particular shipping method in order to provide you with the best delivery experience.
When shipping your order, we will use one of three different shipping methods: Ground Shipping, Truck Freight, or White Glove services. For certain items, more than one service may be available for you to choose from. Please note that there may be price differences if you choose to upgrade a shipping service.
When your order ships, we will notify you via email. Included in your email will be a tracking number for your shipment. You may track your package online or on the phone with the carrier. Most companies can provide an estimated delivery date. Please be sure to contact us if anything seems unusual with the progress of the shipment.
Whenever possible we will ship smaller, lighter items via UPS, FEDEX, DHL or USPS. These companies provide the fastest and most reliable method of shipping available for many items we sell. Depending on how close you are to the shipping warehouse, your item will generally arrive between 1 and 6 business days (1 to 10 business days for USPS) after it leaves the warehouse.
A signature is not typically required: if the customer is not at home to accept delivery, the product will be left if determined it is safe to do so by the driver. For business deliveries, signatures may be required. If a signature is required, the product will not be left at the address. Please note that deliveries cannot be made to a PO Box.
Please note that if you purchase multiple Ground Shipping items, they may be shipped via Truck Freight instead to consolidate shipment.
Products which are considered too large or heavy to ship by small parcel services will be shipped via truck freight, sometimes called "back of truck". The shipping company will call you in advance to schedule a delivery appointment window. Most companies offer appointment windows (usually 2-4 hours) between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that you must inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the paperwork that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.
After the product is delivered to the shipping address, it is the customer's responsibility to unload it from the back of the truck and bring it to their location. If the item is very heavy, please ensure that you have assistance to remove it from the delivery truck. For an additional fee, the carrier can use a liftgate to remove the items from the truck for you. Inside delivery may also be available at an extra charge. Please contact us before placing your order for more information on this service. Once we email you the tracking information, you may also contact the shipper directly to inquire about additional services. You would be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for any additional services.
White Glove Services
We use White Glove Services for products which require special handling. Typically, products with multiple heavy components will utilize this service such as bedroom and dining sets. Items which ship by White Glove will be specifically stated as so in the product information page. You may also request this service upgrade for an extra charge by contacting our sales department prior to placing an order. Due to the extra time and resources needed to take care of your order, the shipping time may be extended anywhere between 5 and 10 business days (excluding pre-ship time).
When your order arrives at the delivery agent closest to your home or office, you will be contacted by a scheduling clerk for a delivery appointment. The appointment is typically a 2 to 5-hour window, Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Saturday deliveries are not always possible.
White Glove Bronze
Bronze service level provides delivery to inside the threshold of your residence. If a garage is present, the product will be delivered into the garage, otherwise the product will be delivered in the front entrance. The product will not be carried up stairs. We recommend upgrading to Gold service if you live above the first floor. The product will be left in the original packaging.
White Glove Gold
Gold service level provides two-man delivery, to inside your residence to the room you choose. This service includes carrying the product up two flights of stairs from the building threshold (4-15 steps = 1 flight). If you need the product moved up additional flights please contact us. Once the product is in the room you desire, the shipper will unpack the product and provide basic setup that requires no tools (i.e. will set pieces next to each other, or on top of each other). The shipper will also remove and dispose of all packaging.
*In all cases the shipper will not hookup any electrical or component wires.
We offer free shipping for products unless otherwise stated or you have requested additional services. You'll save both time and money by not having to figure out shipping charges and paying for them during checkout. The price listed on the product information page of the item you ordered is the price you will pay. We want to make shopping online at DCG Stores as easy and convenient for you as possible.
Where We Deliver
We deliver to the 48 contiguous U.S. states. We currently do not ship to P.O. Boxes, military APO/FPO addresses, Alaska or Hawaii, and international addresses.
